AMO Winery is more than just a name; it is a testament to the love shared within a family and for life itself. The name “AMO” originates from the Latin word for “I love.” It also symbolizes the family’s unity: “A” stands for Angie, the mother; “M” for Mike, the father; and “O” for offspring, representing the children.
AMO embodies the essence of cherishing life, loving one another, and sharing happiness and love. The heart window serves as a reminder that love is the core of life, encouraging us to celebrate each day by doing the things that make our hearts beat with joy.
Our Wines
At AMO Winery, our wines are hand-harvested from the St. Davids Bench, one of Niagara’s higher elevated appellations. The “clay heavy loam” soil is nutrient-rich and dense, giving our wines their unique character. Each grape is carefully selected to ensure exceptional quality, capturing the true essence of our terroir.
